AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to rights and obligations of a municipality electing integrated non-participating owner status in gas and oil wells

This bill amends the Environmental Conservation Law to provide that a duly incorporated municipality in New York State electing integrated non-participating owner status in gas and oil wells shall have no obligations to the well operator or any other owner for any charges, taxes, or fees associated with the operation of the well.
