Bill > SRes11

This Resolution officially designates the week of January 22 through January 28, 2023, as "National School Choice Week" to recognize and celebrate the importance of parents having diverse educational options for their children, from traditional public schools to charter schools, private schools, online academies, and homeschooling. The resolution acknowledges that a variety of high-quality K-12 education environments exist and that talented educators in all these settings prepare students for success. It aims to increase public awareness about the benefits of educational choice, encouraging parents to explore available options and for communities to hold events and activities that highlight these opportunities.
