This bill amends the Public Officers Law to remove the "to the extent practicable at least twenty-four hours" limitation from the requirement that agencies and departments make records available prior to or at an open meeting. This means that agencies must make records available upon request, without the previous limitation, to enhance transparency and public access to information discussed at open meetings.
