This bill amends the New York tax law to provide a tax credit to certain landowners who allow state-funded snowmobile trails or portions thereof on their property. The credit is 10 cents per linear foot of the snowmobile trail, with a maximum credit of $750 per year. Eligible taxpayers can either carry over any excess credit to future years or receive the excess as a refund. The bill takes effect on January 1 of the year following its enactment and applies to taxable years starting on or after that date.
