This bill revises various provisions related to charter schools in Tennessee. Key changes include: 1. Authorizers must consider the performance of any existing charter schools operated by the applicant when reviewing a new charter application. 2. If a local school district changes grade bands for its schools, it must notify charter schools authorized by the district at least 120 days in advance to allow the charter schools to seek an amendment to their charter agreements. 3.
