AI Summary

This bill amends the Official Code of Georgia to revise provisions concerning telephone solicitations and advertisements for legal services. It provides new requirements for legal service advertisements, including prohibitions on false claims and mandatory disclosures. The bill also gives the State Bar of Georgia authority to promulgate related rules and regulations, and allows for civil penalties and legal actions against violators. Additionally, the bill enhances existing laws on the "do not call" registry for telephone solicitations, including allowing subscribers to seek injunctive relief and damages against violators and their associated parties. The bill aims to balance individuals' privacy rights and the commercial free speech of legitimate telemarketers.
