This bill establishes the Supply Chain Resiliency and Crisis Response Office in the Department of Commerce. The Office will map, monitor, and model supply chains, identify vulnerabilities, and collaborate with the private sector, labor organizations, and government partners to promote the resilience, diversity, security, and strength of critical industries and supply chains. The bill requires the Under Secretary of the Office to submit a quadrennial report on supply chain resilience and domestic manufacturing, and provides for coordination with relevant federal agencies. The bill also includes provisions to protect confidential supply chain information voluntarily provided by private entities.
