AN ACT concerning State and Local Government - Proof of Vaccination for Employees and Applicants for Employment - Prohibition (Vaccination by Choice Act) FOR the purpose of prohibiting the State and the political subdivisions in the State from requiring an applicant for employment or an employee to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 as a condition for employment; and generally relating to employment in State and local government and vaccination requirements. BY adding to Article - Local Government Section 1-207 Annotated Code of Maryland (2013 Volume and 2022 Supplement) BY adding to Article - State Personnel and Pensions Section 2-312 Annotated Code of Maryland (2015 Replacement Volume and 2022 Supplement)
