AI Summary

This bill authorizes a police officer who is denied a right granted under the Police Disciplinary Procedures Act to apply to the circuit court for an order that directs the law enforcement agency to show cause why the right should not be granted. The application must be made to the circuit court of the county where the law enforcement agency is located, or to the Anne Arundel County circuit court if the officer is employed by a statewide or bi-county agency. The bill aims to provide a legal mechanism for police officers to challenge the denial of their rights during disciplinary proceedings.
