This bill provides a sales tax exemption for certain used tangible personal property. Specifically, it exempts from sales tax the purchase of used tangible personal property by a consumer directly from another consumer or at an auction of used property. The exemption does not apply to the purchase of motor vehicles, trailers, boats, or outboard motors that are required to be titled in Missouri. The bill also makes some technical changes to existing sales tax exemptions related to telecommunications services and material recovery processing plants.
