This bill authorizes certain hospitals, such as Distressed Hospital Loan Program recipients, small hospitals, rural hospitals, critical access hospitals, and health care district hospitals, to seek approval from the Department of Health Care Access and Information (DHCAI) for a delay of up to 3 years in complying with seismic safety standards for their hospital buildings by January 1, 2030.
