AN ACT concerning Public Safety - Gun Violence Victim Relocation Program - Establishment FOR the purpose of establishing the Gun Violence Victim Relocation Program within the Victim Services Unit of the Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention, Youth, and Victim Services to provide certain victims of gun violence certain services and assistance related to relocating for the safety of the victim or the victim’s family; establishing the Gun Violence Victim Relocation Program Fund as a special, nonlapsing fund; requiring interest earnings of the Fund to be credited to the Fund; requiring the Victim Services Unit to establish a certain oversight commission; and generally relating to the Gun Violence Victim Relocation Program. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article - Criminal Procedure Section 11-1102 Annotated Code of Maryland (2018 Replacement Volume and 2022 Supplement) BY adding to Article - Public Safety Section 5-901 through 5-907 to be under the new subtitle “Subtitle 9.
