This bill, the Nuclear Fuel Security Act of 2023, aims to strengthen the United States' nuclear fuel security by: 1. Establishing a Nuclear Fuel Security Program to increase domestic production of low-enriched uranium (LEU) and high-assay, low-enriched uranium (HALEU) by U.S. nuclear energy companies. 2.
