This bill amends the Environmental Protection Act by increasing the filing fees for certain petitions to the Pollution Control Board, including petitions for site-specific regulations, variances, permit reviews, contesting local government decisions, and adjusted standards. The fees are increased from $75 to $250 for each type of petition. The bill also clarifies that a person who has already paid the filing fee for a variance petition and has that petition converted into a petition for a time-limited water quality standard will not be required to pay an additional fee.
