This bill establishes requirements for the practice of registered interior design in Alaska, renames the State Board of Registration for Architects, Engineers, and Land Surveyors to the State Board of Registration for Design Professionals, and makes related changes to the regulation of interior design, architecture, engineering, and land surveying in the state. The bill adds an interior designer member to the state board, authorizes the board to regulate registered interior design, establishes registration requirements for interior designers, and makes other changes to align the regulation of interior design with the existing regulation of other design professions in Alaska.
