This bill, the Clean Energy Demonstration Transparency Act of 2023, amends the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to require the Secretary of Energy to submit regular reports to Congress on clean energy demonstration projects administered or supported by the Department of Energy. The reports must include copies of initial contracts or financial assistance agreements, a list of project milestones that have or have not been met, and any material modifications to the scope, schedule, funding profile, project partners, or budget of the projects. The Secretary is also allowed to synchronize these reports with other required reports to streamline the process.
