AI Summary
This bill prohibits individuals from intimidating election officials or preventing them from performing their election-related duties. It defines "election official" to include various public officers and employees involved in conducting elections, and "intimidate" as a willful course of conduct intended to cause fear of physical injury. The bill establishes criminal penalties, ranging from a misdemeanor for a first offense to a felony for third or subsequent offenses. However, the bill exempts constitutionally protected activities, such as reporting, protesting, or advocacy, from these prohibitions.
