AI Summary

This bill, known as the "End Political Litmus Tests in Education Act," prohibits the use of political litmus tests in Georgia's postsecondary educational institutions, local school systems, and elementary and secondary schools. It defines a "political test" as compelling or soliciting individuals to identify with or make statements supporting certain ideologies or movements, such as those promoting differential treatment based on race or ethnicity, or specific partisan, political, or ideological beliefs. The bill states that no political test or qualification shall be required for admission, promotion, or tenure status within public educational institutions. Violations by postsecondary institutions or public schools will result in the withholding of state funding or state-administered federal funding.
