This bill authorizes the Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center to file an application for exemption from real property taxes for the 2019-2020 assessment roll, even though the application was not submitted by the original taxable status date. If the assessor determines that the organization would have been entitled to the exemption if the application had been filed on time, they may grant the exemption and provide for the refund of any taxes, fines, or penalties already paid. The bill takes effect immediately.
