This bill creates the offense of engaging in an adult cabaret performance. An adult cabaret performance is defined as a performance in a location other than an adult cabaret that features topless dancers, go-go dancers, exotic dancers, strippers, or similar entertainers, regardless of whether performed for consideration. The offense is a class A misdemeanor for a first offense and a class E felony for any second or subsequent offense. The bill preempts any conflicting local ordinances or regulations adopted prior to August 28, 2023, and prevents or preempts political subdivisions from enacting future conflicting ordinances, regulations, restrictions, or licenses.
