This bill directs the Office of General Services, in consultation with the Department of Environmental Conservation, to conduct a feasibility study on installing solar panels on all public buildings under the jurisdiction of the Office of General Services. The study will examine the cost and viability of the solar panel installations, identify buildings with historic designs or insufficient sunlight that may not be suitable, and report the findings to the Governor and Legislature within one year of the bill's effective date. The bill will then expire and be repealed after this one-year period.
