This bill, the Veteran Improvement Commercial Driver License Act of 2023, amends Title 38 of the United States Code to revise the rules for the Secretary of Veterans Affairs' approval of commercial driver education programs for the purposes of veterans' educational assistance. The key changes include exempting certain licensed commercial driver education programs offered by educational institutions from the requirement that the course be approved by a state approving agency or the Secretary, as long as the program uses the same curriculum as an approved program at another location.
