Bill Summary
AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to creating the health emergency response data system

This bill creates the Health Emergency Response Data System (HERDS) within the Department of Health. HERDS will collect information and statistical data related to public health emergencies to assist the department, other government entities, healthcare providers, and the public in understanding and responding to such emergencies.
