This bill provides additional funding for scholarships for students at 1890 institutions. It amends the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 to provide $10 million in mandatory funding from the Commodity Credit Corporation for fiscal year 2025 and each fiscal year thereafter to support these scholarships. The bill also extends the availability of previously authorized funding for scholarships at 1890 institutions, which are historically Black land-grant colleges and universities, to continue in fiscal year 2020 and each fiscal year thereafter.
