This bill exempts the town of Brookline from the requirement that a quorum of a public body, including the chair, be present at an in-person meeting location in order for the attorney general to authorize remote participation by members of such public body under the state's Open Meeting Law. The bill allows the town of Brookline to hold remote public meetings without requiring an in-person quorum, and it takes effect immediately upon passage.
