This bill aims to preserve preventive health services without any cost-sharing (such as copayments or deductibles) for individuals covered under health plans issued on or after January 1, 2025. It requires health insurance carriers to provide coverage for: (i) evidence-based preventive services recommended by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force; (ii) routine immunizations for children, adolescents, and adults as per the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices; (iii) preventive care and screenings for infants, children, and adolescents as per guidelines from the Health Resources and Services Administration; and (iv) preventive care for women. The bill also instructs the Division of Insurance to issue guidance to implement and enforce these provisions within 90 days of the bill's effective date.
