This bill: Provides supplemental appropriations for fiscal year 2023, including funding for district attorneys, judgments and legal fees, family and adolescent health services, emergency assistance shelters, stabilization grants for childcare, and the school breakfast program. It also establishes reserves to address the needs of homeless families/individuals and newly-arrived immigrants/refugees, and provides emergency allotments for the supplemental nutrition assistance program. The bill further authorizes funding for housing, community development, economic opportunities, and local government support, including a matching grant program for technology and innovation, broadband infrastructure improvements, advanced manufacturing projects, the MassWorks infrastructure program, and a program to rehabilitate blighted properties. It also makes changes to reporting requirements for the State Police and Department of Transportation, occupational license definitions for sports wagering operations, and provisions related to remote notarization. The bill extends various deadlines, revives and extends several special legislative commissions, and makes other technical and clarifying changes.
