This bill, the Big Bend National Park Boundary Adjustment Act, authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to acquire approximately 6,100 acres of land or interests in land adjacent to Big Bend National Park in Texas, either through donation, purchase from willing sellers, or exchange. Upon acquisition, the Secretary will revise the park's boundary to include the acquired lands and administer them as part of the park. The bill also requires that a map depicting the proposed boundary adjustment be made publicly available. Importantly, the bill prohibits the use of eminent domain or condemnation in carrying out the boundary adjustment.
