This bill establishes a Deer Population Control Commission to identify best practices and methods for controlling the deer population in several Massachusetts counties. The commission will recommend ways to control the Commonwealth's deer population and assist farmers in preventing and addressing property damage caused by deer. The commission is required to submit its findings and legislative recommendations to the state legislature by March 1, 2024.
