This bill appropriates funds to the Office of the Secretary of State for fiscal years 2023 and 2024. * The Office of the Secretary of State receives a total of $14,711,600 from the General Fund for personnel costs, operating expenditures, and capital outlay for fiscal year 2024. * The Commission on Uniform State Laws receives $53,000 from the General Fund for fiscal year 2024. * An additional $81,400 is appropriated from the General Fund for personnel costs, operating expenditures, and capital outlay for the Office of the Secretary of State for fiscal year 2023, specifically for three new staff positions. * Any unexpended and unencumbered balance appropriated for election integrity audits for fiscal year 2023 is reappropriated to the Office of the Secretary of State for fiscal year 2024. * The Office of the Secretary of State is authorized to have 35.50 full-time equivalent positions for fiscal year 2024, with the Governor able to authorize increases and the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee to be notified. * The full-time equivalent position authorization for the Office of the Secretary of State is increased by 2.00 for fiscal year 2023.
