This bill amends existing law to require all public, private, and charter schools that provide education from kindergarten to grade 12 to annually report to the Department of Education the total numbers of children who are successfully immunized and who are exempted from immunization requirements. The Department is required to designate the reporting methodology and publish the aggregate immunization and exemption data for each school and school district, unless doing so would result in the disclosure of personal information or violate privacy laws. The Department may also choose to publish the data by other geographic designations.
