This bill amends Section 3 of Chapter 94G of the General Laws in Massachusetts. It replaces the requirement for a city or town to document and consider as a public record any costs incurred from the operation of a marijuana establishment or medical marijuana treatment center. Instead, if the community cannot document the specific costs, the community impact fee shall be a standard allowance of 1% of the gross sales of the marijuana establishment or medical marijuana treatment center, and this fee shall not be effective for longer than 8 years.
