This bill aims to protect the personal information of police officers, their spouses, and their children. It prohibits any person, business, or association from publicly posting, displaying on the internet, or otherwise making publicly available the personal information of a police officer, including their home address, phone number, email, photographs, and information about their personal vehicle, without the officer's consent. Violations of this law would be punishable by a fine of up to $5,000 or up to 2.5 years in jail, or both.
