This bill establishes a wildland acquisition account within the Inland Fisheries and Game Fund, funded by the sale of wildland conservation stamps and other sources. The account, subject to appropriation, can be used to purchase land containing wildlife habitat and manage those lands for fishing, trapping, and hunting. The bill also requires individuals to obtain a wildlands conservation stamp, costing $7.50, to fish, trap, or hunt on lands managed by the Division of Fisheries and Wildlife, with some exemptions. The revenue from the stamp sales will be dedicated to habitat management on these lands.
