This bill aims to ensure access to polling places for voters with disabilities. It requires the state secretary to inspect each polling place and early voting site at least once every four years to ensure compliance with federal and state laws concerning accessibility for voters with disabilities. The bill mandates that the inspecting agent promptly report any failures to comply, and the responsible officials must take immediate action and submit a written plan to comply within 5 days. If the officials fail to take action or submit a plan, the state secretary can order them to comply. The state secretary must also report annually on all activities under this section. The attorney general can bring a civil action to enforce compliance with accessibility laws, written plans, or the state secretary's order.
