This bill aims to expand Medicaid coverage for community violence prevention and intervention services, as well as hospital-based violence prevention and intervention services. The bill also establishes requirements for the certification of violence prevention professionals and the approval of training and certification programs, and it directs the Secretary to utilize the Violence Prevention Federal Reinvestment Trust Fund to expand the purchase of these services.
