This bill appropriates a total of $20,000,000 from the Revitalize Rural Nebraska Fund to the Department of Environment and Energy for Fiscal Years 2023-24 and 2024-25 to support Legislative Bill 45. * $10,000,000 from the Revitalize Rural Nebraska Fund for FY2023-24 to the Department of Environment and Energy for Program 513, to aid in carrying out Legislative Bill 45. This includes $9,541,079 in Cash Funds for state aid. * $10,000,000 from the Revitalize Rural Nebraska Fund for FY2024-25 to the Department of Environment and Energy for Program 513, to aid in carrying out Legislative Bill 45. This includes $9,541,332 in Cash Funds for state aid. * Expenditures for salaries and per diems from these appropriations are capped at $251,105 for FY2023-24 and $263,661 for FY2024-25. * The State Treasurer will transfer $10,000,000 from the General Fund to the Revitalize Rural Nebraska Fund on or before July 15, 2023, and another $10,000,000 from the General Fund to the Revitalize Rural Nebraska Fund on or before July 15, 2024.
