This bill establishes a working group to study gender-based price discrimination in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The working group will consist of representatives from the state legislature, the Attorney General's office, the Commission on the Status of Women, the Women's Bar Association, the Treasurer's office, the Retailers Association, and the Governor's office. The group is tasked with examining the costs and differences, if any, in pricing of items marketed towards women compared to men, and will submit their findings and any legislative recommendations to the state legislature by December 31, 2024.
