This bill, the Agricultural Management Assistance Act of 2023, amends the Federal Crop Insurance Act to improve education and risk management assistance for agricultural producers and approved crop insurance providers. It expands the purposes of the existing Agricultural Management Assistance program to include providing technical assistance and language translation services, as well as educating crop insurance providers, particularly on the whole farm diversified risk management insurance plan. The bill also increases the funding limit for the program from $50,000 per year to $200,000 per five-year period, and authorizes an additional $20 million in annual appropriations to carry out the program's expanded activities.
