This bill eliminates the statute of limitations for civil child sexual abuse cases in Massachusetts. It amends existing law to allow for such cases to be filed at any time after the alleged acts of abuse, regardless of when the abuse occurred. The bill also clarifies that actions alleging negligent supervision or contribution to the sexual abuse of a minor can also be filed without time limitations. Additionally, the bill specifies that in cases that would have been previously barred by the statute of limitations, damages may only be awarded against an entity that employed or supervised the alleged abuser if there is a finding of negligence on the part of the entity.
