This bill amends the existing law to remove the provision that limits the deferred compensation program (known as the 401(k) CORE program) to only employers with 20 or fewer employees. The bill also allows the state treasurer or their designee to seek to reduce the operating expenses of the plan through private donations or grants, including direct and indirect fundraising.
