Increasing the minimum prison sentence for unarmed robbery of a bank or credit union from 30 months to life imprisonment. 4. Allowing lawsuits related to the uttering of forged, altered, or counterfeit checks to be brought before the court where the uttering took place or where the payee bank or other depository's main office is located. 5. Allowing lawsuits related to crimes under Section 37 of Chapter 266 to be brought before the court where the crime was committed or where the main office of the bank or other depository is located.
