This bill amends the Transportation Code to change the provisions related to the issuance of temporary tags and license plates by a motor vehicle dealer. The bill also sets deadlines for the DMV to adopt necessary rules and create the required database. The bill's provisions generally take effect on March 1, 2025, with some exceptions.
