This bill requires the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to create a real-time, statewide Hospital Capacity Coordination Dashboard. The dashboard will gather, report, and facilitate data related to managing hospital capacity, capability, and available beds across the state, to be used during public health emergencies or surges in patient need. The Department of Public Health, the Executive Office of Technology Services, and the Executive Office of Health and Human Services will provide the staffing and funding for the dashboard's development and operation. Upon completion, a healthcare coalition representing medical providers will assume control of the dashboard's management and administration.
