This bill amends Section 32L of Chapter 140 of the General Laws in Massachusetts to remove the language "or change in rent" from lines 6 and 8. It then further amends Subsection (2) of Section 32L to create a rebuttable presumption that any change in rent that does not apply uniformly to all manufactured home tenants of a similar class is unfair. The bill specifies that differences in the year of entry into an occupancy agreement or tenancy shall render otherwise similar classes dissimilar, and that the amendments to Subsection (2) shall apply retroactively.
