This bill appropriates a total of $37,188,400 to the Agricultural Research and Cooperative Extension Service for the fiscal year 2024, covering the period from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024. * $32,547,200 for personnel expenditures from the General Fund. * $3,601,100 for operating expenditures from the General Fund. * $650,000 for capital outlay from the General Fund. * $145,100 for personnel expenditures from the ARPA State Fiscal Recovery Fund. * $245,000 for operating expenditures from the ARPA State Fiscal Recovery Fund. The Agricultural Research and Cooperative Extension Service is exempted from certain limitations on transferring funds between object codes for the appropriated amounts. However, legislative appropriations cannot be transferred between funds without express legislative approval. This act takes effect on July 1, 2023.
