This bill amends the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act to provide an annual National Recreational Pass, at no cost, to law enforcement officers and firefighters who can provide adequate proof of eligibility. The bill defines "firefighter" as any employee of the federal government, a state, a local government, or an Indian tribe who performs work directly related to suppressing fires, including wildland fires. It also defines "law enforcement officer" as any officer, agent, or employee of the federal government, a state, a local government, or an Indian tribe who is authorized by law to engage in or supervise the prevention, detection, or investigation of any criminal law violation, or to supervise sentenced criminal offenders.
