This bill transfers funds for fiscal year 2023 to various water-related programs and projects. * $150,000,000 is transferred from the General Fund to the Water Management Fund for large water projects, which can include studies, water sustainability efforts, modernization of surface water delivery systems, rehabilitation of aging water infrastructure, and flood management. No more than one-third of these funds can be used for grants, and the Idaho Water Resource Board will use specific criteria for awarding grants. * $92,000,000 is transferred from the General Fund to the Water Pollution Control Fund for drinking water and wastewater infrastructure grants. * $23,000,000 is appropriated from the ARPA State Fiscal Recovery Fund to the Department of Environmental Quality for the Water Quality Program, to be used for drinking water and wastewater infrastructure grants. * $2,000,000 is transferred from the General Fund to the Agricultural Best Management Practices Fund. * $5,000,000 is transferred from the General Fund to the Confined Animal Feeding Operations Fund. All transfers and appropriations are for the period of July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023.
