This bill: - Increases the income threshold for contributions required by residents of veterans' nursing homes from $130 to $160 per month. - Establishes the Slots for Doctors Program to address physician workforce shortages by providing $100,000 for each newly created resident position in physician specialties with statewide supply-and-demand deficits. - Requires the Agency for Health Care Administration to implement a pilot program to provide comprehensive Medicaid services, including community-based services, to individuals with developmental disabilities in two specific Statewide Medicaid Managed Care regions. The program will be developed in consultation with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities and will include an evaluation of the feasibility of statewide implementation. - Amends the Medicaid Managed Care statute to modify the payment structure for nursing home providers and the achieved savings rebate requirements for managed care plans. - Clarifies that home health agencies providing only attendant nursing care services or private duty nursing services, and not skilled home health services, do not need to meet Medicare certification or accreditation requirements to participate in Medicaid.
