This bill amends existing law to provide that Medicaid expansion in Idaho shall remain in effect only if certain conditions are met. These conditions include maintaining a 90% federal funding commitment, implementing work requirements for able-bodied adults, capping enrollment, maintaining a low Medicaid improper payment rate, suspending automatic eligibility renewals, implementing a lifetime benefit limit, and conducting biannual eligibility redeterminations. If these conditions are not met within 90 days of January 1, 2024, the state must terminate Medicaid expansion. The bill also requires the state to submit necessary state plan amendments or waiver requests to the federal government to implement these provisions.
